Day out for the Deans

A service for the Woodingdean, Ovingdean, Rottingdean and Saltdean areas.

This is an Easylink door to door service picking you up from home and returning you to your door. This service is for people including wheelchair users, who find it difficult or impossible to use the normal bus service, from the Woodingdean, Ovingdean, Rottingdean and Saltdean areas.

We go to shops and for trips in the Brighton and Hove area. This service is funded and supported by Brighton and Hove City Council. Buses will run twice a month, usually on a Thursday or Friday, going to different destinations each month. You can take a carer or essential companion with you.

Friday 24th Feb 2012 Holmbush Centre Spend 2-3 hours at this shopping centre with Tesco, Marks & Spencer, and the new Next Home & Garden store. Pick up is 9.30am onwards. £3.50 return
Tuesday 6th March 2012 The Iron Lady - Duke of Yorks Cinema, Brighton. A chance to see Meryl Streep in her career-crowning turn as Mrs Thatcher. Free tea/coffee in the cafe as part of this Silver Screen showing for the over 60's, bring ID proof for this ticket price. Pick 9am onwards for 11am film start. Tickets £3.50 plus transport fare. £3.50 return
Thurs 22nd March 2012 Hove Museum and Tea Rooms, Hove. Enjoy 2-3 hours with displays on local history, toys, cinema, fine art and craft, with light lunches, cakes and cream teas available. £3.50 return
